I know its a hard question to put out there with so many great ones to pick from.
So with the next installment of the Local Derby just around the corner I thought it would be nice to recap on a few more memorable ones.
The September 21st 2002 40- 24 demolition was a great one and last years top 8 ending effort was also spectacular. However for mine I was pretty happy with the hammering we gave them @ shark park in a home final a few years back.It was the one when Ainscough tried to take off Mat Rogers head with one of his trademark stiff arms. I don't have the scores in front of me @ the moment but I'm sure someone will fill in the blanks.

Oh and before one of our attention seeking friends e.g red v , Dimitri and the latest infected hemorrhoid to inflame himself in here Mr. Ribs start rambling on about 11 in a row etc please take the time to read the subject title .

That wasn't a home final mate, it was in 2000 I think. The Merged Scum didn't quite make it that far in 2000

The best has to be the 2002 Semi Final though. The dopey looks on their fans' faces as they trudged out of the SFS was priceless!!

Oh yeah I retract the final comment and on 2nd thoughts Ainscough got Mat rogers high in what was deemed a legit tackle. This was after Mat scored a try and gave him a bit of shite when putting the ball down....he didn't like that.
Broken nose was what Mat got .
I remember him smiling and waving at the tv camera as he sat on the sideline with cotton wool stuffed up his nose

any victory over the dragons is a good victory

it's even better when one of their players leaves injured

It's fun having eight games to look back and choose from. They've only got three

Saturday night's win will be up there too :D

Or more than one

There's nothing like seeing a Dragon in pain
Like when Barrett was moaning in agony after hurting his ankle a few years back and I was there on the sideline saying sucked in, get off, peel this loser off the ground with a spatula, on with the game, have a nice holiday, you're a hack and you know it, someone break his other leg, f**k off youre goneski!

I liked the one when we won the minor premiership.
The queens were up by about 20 (around that many) but we (as per normal) played with more passion and won the game and the minor premiership.
There were heaps there that day too.
Was this correct or was I dreaming?

I espescially like the one where we were the minor premiers that year, and we played the merged scum in the major semi. We were up at half time, and looking good to go to a GF. But then they came at us and ended our hopes of our first premiership, winning 24-8. That was my fav game ever!

Another personal favourite of mine was in the late 70's at Kogarah.
The Queen fans sitting all around me were carrying on about the Sharks new boy being over-rated.
They expected their forwards to fix him up. (polite language).
Well the Sharks new boy killed them.
I taped the game (radio broadcast)and listened to it when I got home.
The commentator said if Kurt Sorenson had kept running he would have run through the grandstand. He also scored a try where he carried about 4 of them over the line with him.
It was like the under 6's when you get a heap of little kids trying to stop one real big kid.
I think we scored 30 odd to 14 (but we were heaps better than them that day).

Go easy dragon, their victories over us is all they have to cling too.

Quite sad, quite pathetic.

Still here Ribs? Speaking of quite sad, quite pathetic, how about your abnormal obsession with our forum?

I guess everyone needs a hobby, yours is obviously trolling, or is that your life in general? I bet you'd be the biggest loser in real life!

No, actually I just have it open here at work and check it while Im writing my report.

Its a bit rich calling Saints trolls when Im only here the week before the game, yet Jimbo is on our forum 12 months of the year.......

You'd bet Im the biggest loser would you? You'd be 6 years old then?

any victory over them is good. The greatest was the semi in 2002. We were sitting in the stands feeling quite vunerable and surrounded by some st george supporters who were giving it to us, then the reg regans appeared and things just rolled on from there.

I remember having a can at the paddo inn and there was a dragons supporter having a cry in the corner. I honestly felt bad for him, I wonder if he will be crying in the corner this weekend.

2002 was a good year. Not only was there the finals victory but the 34-13 home game.

Now that was memorable for the smug looks on their faces with a 13-0 halftime lead, only to see them wiped off as we destroyed them in the second half.

What happened a week later though? Cry babies!!!!

My favourite would have to be the 2002 Semi Final. The Dragons were being talked up all week as a team that could make the Grand Final from 7th position, but the Sharks were far too strong for them. :D
