I don't remember the year but it was a game in the early 80's at Kograh,
Cronulla smashed them 32- something I'm not quite sure of the score either. I do remember the Blood that was pouring out of Craig Youngs head though.
If anybody knows the year and the score please let me know......

2002 semi for sure. They were all excited and confident. Then we opened the gates and walloped them.

Bickers had an absolute blinder that night and Bird went off.

There is an awesome picture of Bailey absolutley giving it to the Saints after he scored too.

By far my most satisfying victory over the shitheads.

I missed the semi in 2002, but my favourites would be a few wins at Kogarah. It's always sweeter beating them over there. There's 3 that come to mind. The victory that launced Paul Green, I guess that would have been 94. I think it was a Friday night. Then there was a game in 98 I guess, where Brett Howland came in as a late replacement for Peach at fullback, maybe on debut, and got 2 trys. And probably the best victory, was when we smashed them on their last ever game at kogarah, before they went nomadic for a few years.

That could be the one I'm thinking about which was a great one. Mid 1999 at Kogarah Oval. We won 24-8, Preston's debut match for Cronulla and Treister slugged it out with Nathan Brown.

I cant go past the classic ANZAC Day victory in 99.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and the ground was absolutely full to the brim with a new ground record being broken.

It was a close contest the whole game but Sharkies had their noses ahead for most of the match. Then with under 10 mins to go, Mundine made a break and scored right next to the post to bring them within 2 points of us. It was all up to Bartrim to square the match up with a straight forward conversion, and to everyone’s shock and delight the ball hit the upright and bounced back. We won by 2 and that win put us at something like 7 wins out of our first 8 games that season. It was also the afternoon of the famous scissors episode.

Absolute classic game.

However last years game at Toyota gets a special mention.
The Queens were winning early. The Queen army yelling out "Dragons Dragons" loud. Sharks came from weell behind and destroyed them.
The Queen army started yelling out "Steelers steelers" when they were getting destroyed on the field which promtly started a brawl between Queens and ex Steelers supporters.:lol:
And these are the type of people the Queens have supporting them. If I were ribs, or Dumbitri, I'd SHOOT MYSELF.

2002 was a good year. Not only was there the finals victory but the 34-13 home game.

Now that was memorable for the smug looks on their faces with a 13-0 halftime lead, only to see them wiped off as we destroyed them in the second half.
