Does it cost money to play online with the 360?? just curious...

Yeah you need a gold subscription. Yearly one is 79 bucks so thats just over 6 bucks a month. You should get a one month trial when you set up a gamertag.

Of all time:

Myth: The Fallen Lords

Seriously underrated game that revolutionised a real time strategy genre that was focussed almost entirely on resource gathering and zerg rushing your opponent. A dark, in depth storyline, evocative music, and something at stake in every level.

Halo might get all of the press, but Myth (and Myth II) was easily Bungie's finest work.

At the moment...

I'm kind of stuck. Bored of World of WarCraft, can't really get into STALKER, and tired of Football Manager 2007. Make me a recommendation! :p

Buy a Wii, and get a copy of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I have a Wii, but it was one of those short sighed 'share presents' from my sister. I have three other brothers living back at home who have, sadly, laid claim to it. :(

I'm tempted to buy an xBox 360 soon.

I think I'm up to world 3...can't quite remember...stupid flu has destroyed my memory :fist:

Depending on how long it takes me to finish this, and then how long there is til Metroid Prime 3: Coruption gets released, I may buy RE4 as a filler :p

Lame :(

I was incredibly tempted to buy a 360 when kittykat brought his over and we rocked out to Trogdor on Guitar Hero 2

But I think I'll wait til next year as the games that are coming out on Wii this year are plenty enough to keep me busy for a long, long time.

Consoles are so friggin' expensive. I don't want to have to actually start going to work more than 15-16 hours a week so I can afford one :p

the Myth's were ahead of their time and very solid titles. the Total War series reminds me a lot of the Myth games.

i agree with fred - buy another wii if you have to in order to play Zelda: Twilight Princess... and get stuck into resident evil 4 (and 1, 2 and 3 if you havent played them) as it's a fantastic series.. really the benchmark in survival horror.

for pc - look at Bioshock and Half life 2 (and 1 if you havent played it)... and the proceeding episodes - Episode 1 and Episode 2. you can pre-order the Orange Box on steam - which includes a copy of Half-Life 2 + both episodes and the (for the moment) unreleased Team Fortress 2 (which will be a MASSIVE multiplayer game online if you're into multiplayer gaming) and Portal which is a trippy new puzzle game involving portals. pre-ordering the orange box also gives you access to the Team Fortress 2 Beta which launched a few days ago to much fanfare. the orange box preorder is around $50 - 60 US dollars - which is great value with the current exchange rate (you'll need access to a credit card).

Ah, I was meant to be downloading/purchasing the Total War games. I knew I'd forgotten something after my weekend of Jaeger bombing my brain into mush.

Bioshock and Halflife 1 & 2, you say? I'll go check them out too.

I just bought Baldur's Gate I & II plus their expansions. I daresay this time next week, they'll be my favourite games at the moment. They were so badass in highschool.
