Shadowrun-360

How much did you pick that up for if you don't mind me asking? I was interested in the game but all the reviews are terrible and they say it's a ripoff because it's $120 brand new but I haven't seen it anywhere.

I got it from JB for $59 which is their special Australia wide.

One thing you must know about Shadowrun is that is that it is pretty much an online game only. You won't really get the most out of it unless you have live and afew mates to play it with. Although you will quickly rack up some like minded gamers if you just jump into a match anyway, but it can take 10 mins or so.

I'm in a clan so we organise when and where we are going to play which makes it a lot easier...

I've read some of the reviews and cannot for the life of me understand why they aren't around the 85-90 mark. Like I said though, Live is essential.

Free Running on PSP.....the controls can get a bit frustrating but once you get the hang of it you can plow through the challenges.

Any difference to the gamecube version????
yeah quite a few differences. there is a 5 mission extra added for Ada called Seperate Ways that goes through her side of the whole encounter (and gives a lot more to the storyline).. of course there is plenty of "waggle" implemented (very well i might add.. knifing done with wiimote slashes.. reloading done with a shake of the wiimote etc...) and a few other extras that the original didn't have.

a must have imho, it was great to play with the wiimote/nunchuck combo. i didn't play the gamecube version - but this was an absolutely fantastic game.

Warhawk! Multiplayer only title on Playstation 3, you download it but it's a full sized game (yet only 798MB download). Cost me $50 (costs the yanks $40 which really impressed me) and it's absolutely brilliant fun. Just a good war game, all action nowhere to hide. You feel like a tiny part of a massive war all the time but it's brilliant. Vehicles and ground combat are great but the planes are something else. And the draw distance is just brilliant, you can see from one side of the huge map to the other no problems.

Only real bad part of it so far is I'm having trouble getting a game because so many of Sony's servers (which are actually PS3 consoles) are full especially in the mode Zone which is the most fun mode and in Aus it's hard to get good connections to other people's hosted games. It comes out on disc on September 20 for $100 but that comes with a Bluetooth headset, instruction book and some behind the scenes videos on the disc. Not worth the extra $50 imo but either way, get this game if you have a PS3.
