Brisbane Bulls v New England Celtic
A 78th minute Hep Cahill try has salvaged Brisbane's second draw in as many weeks today, as the Bulls dropped a 10-0 lead to trail 16-10 heading into full time. The late Cahill try was a blow to a New England side who had played some sparkling football, but a point is enough to keep the side top should Shenzhen lose in their away clash with Mu'a.
Brisbane: Hep Cahill and Luke Burgess. A. Reynolds 4/4
New England: Joe Wardle and Danny Houghton. Brough 4/4
HT Score: 4-0

New Zealand Churr Bros v Raymond Terrace Tanks
Fresh off last week's shock 19 all draw with Brisbane, Raymond Terrace would have gone into today's clash with unpredictable New Zealand feeling pretty confident. Trailing just 20-14 at half-time in front of a big NZ crowd, the Tanks seemed to go missing in the second half as the Kiwis piled on the points to record an ominous 60-14 annihilation of their top eight rivals.
The club's resurrection under their caretaker coach is cause for concern for other clubs vying for a top eight spot, while Raymond Terrace cling to their place despite the second worst points difference in the league.
New Zealand: Kallum Watkins 2, Benji Marshall 2, Ben Hunt 3, Jesse Bromwich, and David Mead 2. Marshall 10/12
Raymond Terrace: Robbie Farah and Mitchell Pearce. Gidley 3/3
HT Score: 20-14

Grapes of Nanking v Machu Picchu Llamas
No real surprises today in Machu Picchu's visit to Nanjing, with the Grapes barely raising a sweat in a confident 32-12 win over their South American opposition. Sporting a new look lineup that saw Billy Slater in the halves, the Grapes looked slick in their six tries to two victory.
Grapes: Billy Slater, Jamie Soward, George Burgess, Kade Snowden, and Ethan Lowe 2. Soward 4/6
Machu Picchu: Luke Robinson and Brenton Lawrence. Lyon 2/2
HT Score: 24-12
Dally M: Blake Ferguson (Grapes) 3, Ethan Lowe (Grapes) 2, and Jamie Soward (Grapes) 1.

Multiple Scoregasms v Quahog Quagmires
The reinvigorated and resurgent Multiple Scoregasms today heaped misery upon the hapless Quahog, effectively ending the US side's slim finals hopes with a 42-0 demolition of the injury struck outfit. The Scoregasms had the game in the bag at 30-0 going into halftime, and did enough in the second half to keep the scorer from dozing off.
Multiple Scoregasms: Justin Hodges, Jorge Taufua 2, Konrad Hurrell, Daly Cherry-Evans, Ryan Hoffman, and Kris Welham. Cherry-Evans 7/7
Quahog: None.
HT Score: 30-0
Dally M: Daly Cherry-Evans (Scoregasms) 3, Ryan Hoffman (Scoregasms) 2, and Josh Hodgson (Scoregasms) 1.

Sydney Vipers v Ipswich Reds
Their coach may be on a well-earned break in Mexico, but the Sydney Vipers did their best to give their boss a happy anniversary present in today's 38-22 win over the plucky but ultimately outgunned Ipswich Reds. In what was a surprisingly competitive game, the home side saw off a tenacious Ipswich before piling on late points to add to their f/a. The win was made more impressive by the fact it was done without the Vipers two most influential players - with Jarrod Croker and Scott Dureau both on the sidelines with injuries.
Sydney: David Klemmer, Tom Briscoe, Jarrod Mullen, Nathan Friend, Michael Shenton, and Bodene Thompson. Townsend 7/7
Ipswich: Kevin Gordon, Micky Higham, and Ken Sio 2. Bosc 2/2. Chase 1/2
HT Score: 14-10
Dally M: Michael Shenton (Vipers) 3, Jarrod Mullen (Vipers) 2, and Tom Briscoe (Vipers) 1.

Roma Vandali v South Canberra Knights
Roma's resurrection under their new coach continued today with a dominant 44-12 demolition of a South Canberra side looking nothing like the top eight contenders they were a few months ago. The home side wowed the huge crowd to lead 26-12 at halftime, and turned on a show in the second half to keep their good form going.
Roma: Jason Nightingale, Sam Thaiday, Darius Boyd 2, Lewis Brown, Jack Reed, and David Nofoaluma. Thurston 8/8
South Canberra: Alex Walmsley and James Segeyaro. Smith 2/2
HT Score: 26-12
Dally M: Johnathon Thurston (Vandali) 3, James Roby (Vandali) 2, and Jason Baitieri (Vandali) 1.

Mu'a Saints v Shenzhen Sharkitohs
In the round's other top of the table clash, Mu'a have scored an emphatic 34-12 win over Shenzhen to keep themselves in the hunt for this year's top four. A big crowd was on hand to see a tense first half that saw the home side leading 12-6, and the Sharkitohs levelled things up shortly after half-time before the Saints found an extra gear and powered away with a huge win.
Mu'a: Peter Fox, Ratu Marika Koroibete, Corey Norman 2, Feliti Mateo, and Michael Jennings. Norman 2/2. Dobson 3/5
Shenzhen: Corey Parker and Luke Keary. Parker 2/2
HT Score: 12-6
