Brisbane Bulls v Bovenendvankeelafsnysleegte RLFC
No real surprises today in Brisbane as the Bulls monstered their South African opposition 26-6 to keep their finals campaign well and truly on track. The rudderless BRLFC looked powerless to combat a slick and efficient Brisbane side who lead 14-0 at the break and went on with the job in the second stanza.

BRFLC: Tim Lafai. Lyon 1/1

Multiple Scoregasms v Oregon Timberwolves

Raymond Terrace Tanks v New England Celtic
Raymond Terrace have suffered a heart-breaking 26-18 loss against the visiting Celtic today, and it may well have put paid to their top eight chances. The Tanks did wonderfully to lead 12-8 at the halftime break and lead 18-14 with ten minutes remaining in the contest, but late tries to Gareth Widdop and Eorl Crabtree saw the Celtic keep their hunt for the minor premiership alive.
Raymond Terrace: Brett Stewart and Michael Weyman. Walsh 5/5

South Canberra Knights v Mu'a Saints
In a game with massive top eight implications, the South Canberra Knights have welcomed their coach back from his Malaysian junket with a 46-20 trouncing of the hot and cold Mu'a Saints.
A tense first half had seen the visiting Tongans leading 14-12, but the Knights' forward pack had a field day in a more open second half - with James Tamou and Tim Mannah grabbing doubles for the ACT side.
South Canberra: James Tamou 2, Tim Simona, John Sutton, Tim Mannah 2, Peni Terepo, and David Williams. Hodgson 7/9

Springfield Wildcats v Newcastle Crusade
Newcastle's top eight aspirations took a body blow today as they capitulated to a 26-6 loss on the road to the Springfield Wildcats. A win here would have done wonders for the Crusade's top eight ambitions, but Johnathon Thurston was a midfield maestro as he engineered a big twenty point win for his side.
Springfield: Jarryd Hayne, Johnathon Thurston, Sam Thaiday, and Shaun Lunt. Thurston 5/5
Newcastle: Ricky Leutele. Carney 1/1
HT Score: 20-0

St. John's Crusaders v New Zealand Churr Bros
No miracles today in the Vatican City, but St. John's showed up some glaring issues in New Zealand's squad as they managed to hold on for a respectable 22-12 loss against last season's minor premiers. While it could be argued that New Zealand were never in any real danger of losing the contest, their lack of killer instinct may well concern their coach.
St. John's: Will Chambers and Richie Mathers. Reynolds 2/2
New Zealand: Sam Tomkins, David Mead 2, and Frank Pritchard. Goodwin 3/4
HT Score: 6-10
Dally M: Frank Pritchard (Bros) 3, Elijah Taylor (Bros) 2, and David Mead (Bros) 1.
Crowd: 2,000
Sydney Vipers v Shenzhen Sharkitohs
Sydney fans will be glad that their coach is back from his Maltese honeymoon after his side today slumped to their second loss under assistant coach, Romeo Magro. The Vipers were playing to keep their top eight dreams on life support, and the first placed Sharkitohs were about as merciful as ebola - rampaging home to a 24-4 away win to cast some serious doubts over the Vipers' top eight credentials.
Sydney: None. Croker 2/2
Shenzhen: Matt Duffie, Jamie Peacock, Sam McKendry, and Craig Hall. Gordon 4/4
HT Score: 2-6
Dally M: Sam McKendry (Sharkitohs) 3, Shaun Johnson (Sharkitohs) 2, and Tyrone Peachey (Sharkitohs) 1.
