I absolutely agree with all those points 100%!!!!

Had a game the other day where i ended up getting walloped 5-1.. All goals from corners, headers and deflections i couldn't really do much about.. Obviously i was annoyed but what can u do.. What pissed me off though was when it reached the 90th minute and i just wanted the game to be over, i passed the ball quickly from a goal kick, the guy sprints for 15 or so metres to intercept the ball and score.. And proceeded to celebrate like he scored some amazing skilful goal with one of those gay long celebrations.. I send a msg "big man".. Then he's like "what?"..

Another gripe is players in tournaments especially where sweaty tactics is all they use.. I was beating this guy 2-0 early, then he proceeds to bring on eto, doumbia and wellinton then sent long through balls the rest of the game.. Got away with pushing my defenders off the ball a few times to win the race and won the game. I probably should of adjusted my defence better but its sad when players revert to those tactics in the first place...

This is Ultimate Team but is normal seasons mode any better? I haven't tried yet.

Only thing pissing me off about online seasons now is EVERYONE is Real Madrid, and if Ronaldo has the ball and they press shoot, it's going in. Drives me nuts.

actually now you mention it, i posted this on the broncos forum a couple of months ago. it starts off as a few good tips and turns into a rant pretty quickly:

Here are my tips to not be an asshole in fifa (pretty hard not to be apparently).

1. Don't celebrate goals- skip the celebration by pressing LB & RB (L1 & R1). Don't run around like a dickhead for way too long and don't do that robot celebration, you ****ing asshole.

2. Don't watch replays- you're a ****ing dick. you have scored a goal and you have seen it already, I have seen it already, yet you want to watch it again. you are all keen to skip a replay when its showing an offside or something, but when it comes to some **** goal you scored from a header or a penalty, you are watching that **** 3 times over. I may be ok (not really) with you watching a replay of a screamer, but still **** that, lets play, not **** around.

3. Headed Goals- If all you do is run to the wing and cross it in and try to header it, you are not a good player. Why bother playing if all you do is that bull**** and hope theres a defensive glitch and your guy is in the centre to score a lucky goal. Its not skill so why bother? actually if i see someone do this at all, i know they suck ****. learn to score for real you ****.

4. quitting- Nobody likes a quitter, but in fifa, i ****ing hate them! especially if someone quits when i score within 10 minutes, then they can quit and not have it count towards there points or my points. Biggest cheat thing in the game, why bother if you can't handle losing? You may have a good ranking now, but you have done it by cheating, thereby not proving anything really, you are just a **** player.

5. wasting time- what i mean by this is passing the ball between your GK and Defenders trying to waste time and keep the ball off the opposition. this is a massive cheat move. i saw someone score against me after 10 minutes and the rest of the game he tried to do this, although i managed to get the ball back and score and win 2-1 which was ****ing satisfying because in your face thats why.

6. lagging- its ****ing hard to play in lag, if you're lagging, don't play online, get better internet, then play.

7. standing in front of Keeper- this never results in much coz it rarely works, but this proves to me what an asshole you are by trying to exploit the glitch where if i have the ball with my goalkeeper i could kick it into you and you have an easy goal, if i see someone try to do this, i know they are a cheat. I hate playing cheats, go play someone else, Brian Waldron.

8. standing in front of the nearest player- this is the gayest ****. when you're trying to take a goal kick or free kick and you just want to get on with the game and pass it to the nearest dude so you can play on, oh no but whats this, the other guy has run one of his men in front of the guy i want to pass it to, so maybe he can get an easy goal. what a chump, now i have to boot it long, which i hate doing, **** you. almost everyone does this so **** off everyone.

And maybe its a credit to your defence that your opposition is forced to go wide and cross it? Dont see an issue with people using different tactics to try and score. They wanna win, and if they cant go up the middle then that's what they are gonna do to try and score.

Celebrating has it's place but i personally never do other than a quick one if it was a good goal.. But i would put a bit now into it they're a dick or it was important lol. The annoyance is when ppl celebrate over the top over everything, just makes them look line a wanker.

Fifa is a funny game... You can go from loving to hating to loving to hating it very quickly lol.

I've been having a lot of fun with FUT lately. Finally got enough cash to buy myself a good EPL team in a 433 formation.

I find FUT gets quite boring without changing teams. Same as just normal matches of Fifa, I have to change teams regularly otherwise i lose interest.

Yeah I'm selling all my players as I speak.. I'll end up with 350k I think then hopefully trade till 1 mil if I can, while playing normal season matches.. not sure how to make the big bucks atm though... I can make steady cash but in small amounts..

Anyone else having any bug problems with this game. In my career mode I am about to start my second season and whenever I buy a player, once I get to the point they would agree on a wage the game freezes up on me. Has anyone else had this problem? If so was there a way to get around it?

Try doing it without being plugged into the ea servers. I also think that ea released a patch to fix freezing in career mode, which had been a problem for quite a few people. Maybe you can download that?

Are you serious dude.. There's nothing wrong with headed goals from crosses. Just because u cross it doesn't mean u can't play through the middle. It's not relying on a mechanism to f**k up its crossing to the near post if u see ur player making a run on the defenders inside shoulder or going far post if he's running on the defenders outside shoulder. Nothing wrong with that bro if u can do it do it and if u know ur opponent can't defend it than all the f*cken better.

It's like playing ufc and complaining when someone takes you down and ground and pounds you.

Mate straight up, you don't get it.

I've racked up near 1000 games online between fifa 13 and fifa 12. The bottom line is that the ai on your team continually make crap adjustments when contesting a header, too many times they leave guys wide open or simply run from the ball. Furthermore for some bs reason a bloke with amazing height, jumping and heading abilities gets outplayed by attackers that shouldn't even get close.

Notice how nearly every game involves crossed headers.
Notice how people run down the wing, cut inside and run to near post to draw the defenders to cross to a team mate wide open? It's cause the ai do not adjust. They play stupid.

I'm not saying that you should never try a header goal, but simply stating that players that simply use this tactic every time they have possession are simply looking to exploit the ai.

Ps - both geo and pennywisealfi are two of the most fair players I have seen.

I think the lob through-ball is a bigger issue. Too OP, IMO.

Not gonna lie and say I don't use it, because I do. But all people seem to do online is lob it to the strikers and then you watch your defenders get burned, or out-muscled for the ball. With the right team I can defend these pretty easily, but it only takes one slip up in the match and it's a certain goal scored against you. If you don't have pacey defenders, you're pretty much screwed.
