I'm in on the hate of crossed goals. f**king can't stand it. but thats lower on my list of hate, my biggest hate is people who watch replays (especially if its for a penalty or a header!) and people who do massive celebrations

Mate that's my biggest gripe.

Understandable if it's a cracking goal, but when they do it out of spite gives me the shits. Some merkins don't even press to skip the half time or full time highlights..I'm getting the shits thinking about that hahaha.

You guys whinge too much. I don't complain about how the other person plays unless they park the bus.

The only goals I HATE conceding are ones where they'll shoot, keeper saves but goes straight back to them to tap it in. I don't think many people know how to header. I'm good at it attacking and defending. Only rarely will they have an open header - which happens in real life anyway.

My worse goals to give away are headers and tap ins.

And the highlights thing is kind of a head game thing, I sometimes make my opponent watch and wait to rub it in or wait just to piss him off a bit. Replays are the same, if you are down a goal then go up a goal late in a game you rub that s**t in their faces lol!. My opponents rub it in to me so i rub it into them lol!.

Mate I've recorded approx 500 online games on ps3, not including ultimate team.

Your a good player, but all your goals are from crosses whenever we play.

Just played a few games on FIFA 13. I must say that if there is anyone unsure, do yourself a favor and pick this up. The game play is alot smoother and the demo does not do it justice

Lol. I've just about similar amount of games online.

I won division 1, you don't do that by not being able to score every type of way and defend everything.

I hate the fact that 'all of your goals' gets used against me.

We should play a best of 3 if you're up for it - With no excuses. If you're gonna say you can't defend headers then don't worry. I haven't played the game in a while but I'm confident in the ways I can score.

Nothing worse than a gronk who celebrates goals when they're using assisted controls.

Tbh I must use assisted because I've never tinkered with the controls.. might have to give manual a try.. nothing I've really considered or thought about.. is it a lot different? Wouldn't it put you at an unnecessary disadvantage or do you play better once you master it?

Have I been a noob all this time? :p

Well some players I vs solely go for headers the whole game which seems a bit of a limited tactic to use... and despite how you try to position your defender and try to clear it out, they can get a clean header on goal once every few times at least.. What's the best way of defending it?

Don't try to header for a clearance back towards the oppositions way, but push your controlled player towards the attacking player to compete for the header and not worry about where it goes.

What's different about it? I played a couple of demo games and it didn't seem that different other than the first touch changes.

Gameplay feels alot different. Can't explain it really, but the player movement feels smoother and the first touch seems alot more balanced.

You are good, but your not exactly the preferred matchup.

You use Bayer Munich utilizing Ribbery and Robben. You use them to go wide and set up the cross to Gomez. You vary between low or high cross. I know your a good player, but there is a reason why heading is used as a preferred attack, it's cause it doesn't matter how good you defend them, the defenders will screw up.

I bought an Xbox the other day and will be plying FIFA on my Xbox. I do not have any intention to play FIFA 12. If you have an Xbox, I'll accept your challenge on FIFA 13.

Mate I have an awesome defense. In the end, the best defense will still play like shit when defending the headers. Sure not on every attempt, but they eventually forget what to do.

Lol @ the Camp Nou not being in the game, what a f**king joke.

FIFA is so barebones when it comes to leagues, national teams and stadiums.

It's a massive disadvantage if you play against assisted but you have more freedom than they do as well. It's a different game with manual controls, you can utilise open space and pass to players who have a defender in the way of the direct assisted route. The most annoying thing if assisted passing, apart from ping pong cheese, was the times the pass would go to someone else than who I intended.

I'm obviously no legendary FIFA hero like Jono but I wouldn't have it any other way. Manual everything except shooting I put that on semi because I end up sending shots to the corner flag lol

I play with a mix of manual semi and assisted, I think manual passing is a must at least, so many more options on attack with it.
