Weirdly emotional watching both those pressers…. Jeez I’ve enjoyed watching the big man over the years - affection for him is probably increased because he’s such a good bloke, yet the media made him public enemy number 1, so we felt defensive of him…. He’s a big loveable rogue. Love him!

Not often i get emotional over sport (other than when it’s linked to memories with my old man). Didn’t feel emotional over Gal going, but Feefs has an air of vulnerability about him, whilst still being the biggest character in the room, and an absolute beast.

Sounds like a bit of a Facebook thing tbh but I'll be there and partake I guess. The noise and support for Fifi has been growing this last few home games...can see the crowd going nuts on Saturday. Load up on the big fella to get a meaty.

Sad to see the big fella going, lots of great memories. Always known for "that try" of course, but the one I remember best was in his first year or two with us against the Tigers. He got the ball around half way and then trampled 5 or 6 of there players in a 50 metre run to the line.

I'll be out there on Saturday night to see him off.

I asked someone about this given Pele was mentioned.

Pele has agreed to go there but it hasn't been announced because of the dogs cap. I dunno if that opens something up for us to keep him given it might not be lodged - NFI. Seems a bit of a shift lately given he is in the 21 this week for the first time in a long time. Someone also said Fitz confirmed Pele was leaving at the members night a few weeks back but I wasn't there so can't confirm.

Having a look at our top 30 for next year, going off Zero Tackle, we have 28 spots filled. Is it still a top 30, or more?
I'd presume one is being left for Wade, the other?
No mention of Tolman having his last home game this week.....

Responsible for the greatest ever Sharks highlight. The 69th Minute miracle. Carrying five scum over the try line to score the single most important try in Sharks history.

I think he's playing games, doesnt want to officially announce an NRL retirement not because he wants a contraxct elsewhere, he just wants to keep the focus on the team, not himself. BUT he also deserves a home game send off, so club and him have probably come up with this story and version so he gets the send off he (and the fans) deserve to have.
