I’m not buying into anything.

The way it’s reported is that bomber hasn’t spoken to Fifita and he feels left out. We know that’s not the case.

Dragons intentions may be correct to enquire but we haven’t screwed Andrew in any way. He has a contract to be a sharks player not a first grade player.

Come on Goblin, he’s on elite first grade money. Be like having your CEO clean the dunnies while getting numpties in to run the joint.

Does anyone think Magoo or even Williams or Wilton can offer more to the team than Fifita?

Either:
* There’s been a falling out we don’t know about
* Sharks are trying to piss feef off to free up money for next year
* Morris is a dope.

The last 2 options are bad. Feef is a gf hero, I don’t like seeing him treated this way, and he still offers a fair bit.

The way I heard it was Bomber is concerned about Feefs' lateral movement and being caught out in D up the middle under the new rules. He's been sent back to work on that part of his game.

Some of the misses in first grade the last couple of week would question that though.

Every player should be picked on performance or to match the game plan. I admire bomber for making a call. Anyone who things Fifita isn’t aware of why he isn’t playing is kidding themselves. No way does bomber just name the team and not talk to the players impacted.

We won’t ever know as we arent in the club. Problem is the media sees his non selection and to score some website hits makes up a story about him seeking to leave. The public laps it up.

Im 100% confident Fifita knows what is going on.

There's no room for sentiment when we're talking another almost two years on huge money. Well run clubs don't take past performances into consideration when a player is pretty much cooked and nor should we.

It is no different at any club if a big name player is in reserve grade.
Up in Qld even though no where near it Corey Oates in reserves gets publicity.
This is what happens when basically someone in your too 10 salary is in reserve grade

Funny how your totally discounting that it's actually his knee and lateral movement concerns and think it's some deeper conspiracy. It could just be that ?

And I love Fifita for his GF heroics as much as the next guy but that was 5 seasons ago. We can't hold onto that for ever and keep paying him huge money to not perform.

Tiger i reckon the club learnt a lot from exactly that, Chad is a result, apart from Cronk how many premiership winning half backs were still in the squad 7 years later (chad has 2 years option in his favour til 2023)

I’m not discounting anything. I don’t know why he’s sitting on the sidelines.

His knee was rotten last year, and he still offered more than Magoo.

I’m thinking his knee is a bit better than last year.... with the weight off and him running out for the jets what else am I supposed to think?

With our injuries feef should be in our 17 best players, or at the very least given the chance to demonstrate he shouldn’t be there on form.
