Just going to post the above. For once I don't blame our admin. Fifita like many others has no reason for loyalty. Largely a thing of the past.
Our salary cap 'people' need an overhaul. Obviously, Flanno must be a major part of it. All rated youngsters should be given long contracts. That's what the Roosters do. We Lost 2 already. Can't see any downside in upgrading the likes of Holmes and Brown. More difficult with Lichaa as on other clubs radar.
Obviously , Fifita's form was as big a surprise to the staff as the rest of us. It appears we have no-one at the club who can assess the actual and potential value of the players. A worry.
Controversial maybe, but why did we pay TC so much? He cant play overseas due to visa problem, Raiders and Roosters wouldn't go for him and he still is a risk. Most clubs have their marquee's already so we were competing with the desperates only. Never a Union chance.

We could have offered all of Toops money to Fifita but didn't. By that time, Toops past it and Fifita better by the day. Toops jumped at any offer.

Drastic measures needed. Pennies let Lewis,Gordon and Jennings go and are arguably in a better state than us. They recognised an overhaul was needed.
The only good outcome from tonight would be Fifita actually signs with us and Brown and Lichaa play and contribute. More likely a hard fought grinding loss. Who does that benefit?
