Fight for Life

ANother great event organized by Dean Lonnergan. ALl the fights were good but the highlight for me was Buncie knocking out Mark (rab's son) Warren. A close second was the tied fight between Inga Tuigamala and Mark Geyer. Inga was so tired by the end of the 3rd I thought he was going to collapse with exhaustion and hand the fight to Geyer. He mananged to hold on by leaning on Geyer the whole round. I think all Geyer had to do was step back quickly and Inga would've fallen over. Anybody else watch? Anybody actually go?

I'd say the tickets would've cost mega bucks judging by the entertainment and the food going around. Well worth it tho.

Haven't seen the last three fights yet but will watch them later. Poor old McGivor got a bit of biff right from the word go, that Aussie soccer player was certainly a tough nut. Good on McGivor for giving it his best shot. No Doubt Ropo will get him tonight on Game Day.

Sorry if I ruined it for you Ali. Yeah, poor McGivor, he really copped a beating although it didn't look like he got hit with any big punches. First Pulp sport, now this. Good on him though, it took a lot of guts. He could've pulled out with an 'injury' at any time but he stuck with it. It ended up being too much of a mis match. Any ex pro athelete is going to beat a non athelete. If you're watching the tape tonight, look out for the pre fight interview with Geyer when the girl in the dressing room asks him if he has a big . . . Geyer looks more shocked than when Inga hits him.
