Fiji NSW Cup Bid to Heard Next Month

Does any one know why Fiji went NSW cup rather than Qld. Is there a bigger fiji population in Sydney, or are flights easier, or some other reason.

No idea, I've wondered the same thing. Unless Q Cup has already said no due to the players already having to travel to PNG once a year. Not sure if that is an issue or not.

Any extra team in NSW will be up against the 11 NSW feeder teams

NSW don't spread their players 18-36 across 3 teams like they do in Queensland

Fiji Times reporting today that Fiji has been admitted to the NSW Cup from 2019 after securing a major sponsor. Great if confirmed.
