'It's going to be a tough journey' - Inglis: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/2018/09/03/its-going-to-be-a-tough-journey---inglis/

GI is looking and sounding so friggin pumped and it's amazing how he's lost like 13kg's since the start of the year, that's insane!! He's looking fit and I just hope he stays that way. I think we really need to target Melbourne's right edge with GI since they will be without Chambers. Really go at them hard and let GI work his magic.

Seeing all this Finals Series Launch stuff has got be sooo pumped!!
Great times callback, like you mate I’m looking at GI and thinking good luck trying to stop this beast.
I believe he’s going to have an awesome end to the season, premiership winning captain and Churchill medal!

Last time we beat the storm in Melbourne was in the same type situation in the finals.

History to repeat itself?

We also finished 3rd in 2014

We turn up with the same attitude as in the Tigers game I believe we will get the win
We have never beaten the Storm down there I don’t think.

Storm V Rabbitohs drew Klein out of the ref lucky dip for final...Rabbits are stew
Na mate,it’ll be Melbourne drizzle buddy and the WWE.The drizzle will use every wrestling hold in the business to try to
slow down our play the ball.
If this is policed correctly the drizzle will be watching Cook & Co’s backs running away from them all match.

Melbourne's tactic this week will almost certainly be to wrestle the shit out of us and try to slow the play-the-ball, they'll be trying to slow the game down all night to try and disrupt our rhythm. We are going to have to combat this by fighting hard to play an up-tempo game which I'm sure we will.

I think, as I have said before, we need to be targeting their right edge that will be without Chambers and hopefully we'll get GI heavily involved. In addition, I also think we should be sending a lot of traffic at Smith. Yes, he can defend but if we can wear him out he will become less and less effective.

Either way, this is gonna be such a tough game!

Looking at player comparisons,I know it's on paper but assuming our blokes are in form
The Front row the Twins are better than their opponents.
Smith edges out Cookie
Back three we have the better players.
We have them in the halves and centres.
They would have an advantage with their wings and f.b.
Who has the ref is the big one!

The only thing to fear against Melbourne is fear itself. They're not the side they once were and i doubt they ever will be again.
Sure Souths have a poor record in Melbourne but how often have we been down there as a team with an actual shot of winning? I don't know the actual numbers but I'd say it occured from 2012-14 when Melbourne were still at the height of their powers. They're only a shade of that team now and the memory of past Melbourne sides are what causes opponents to be intimidated by today's side.
There is absolutely no reason why Souths can't put their feet up next week.

It’ll come down to our mentality... they need to believe!

The only way we lose this is if we beat ourselves.

First things first complete at 85 percent! That’s key.

I get what you're saying and I do agree but there's no doubt the Storm are capable of going back-to-back. We're gonna have to be on song on Friday.
