Who cares if people think we deserve it not. We're in the finals playing the Cows In Townsville, and anything could happen. I've certainly been made to eat my words. I'd written us off about 5-6 weeks ago.

Wonder who we will see in the centres. Kahu maybe? Hoffman? Not sure if Hoffman is fit

I don't care if we get bungled out, just to see the salty tears of all the merkins on here who had written us off is worth it.

I reckon Oats did an Ok job filling in and he may get the spot. Someone else to come onto the bench.

1. Hodges
2. Vidot
3. Copely
4. Oats
5. Maranta

I'd rather us put an actual back in the centres. Every year we seem to put a forward in the centres or five eight (Glenn, Gillett etc), and it never seems to work

Well, here we are people, a little lucky, but who gives a crap!

Tough game vs Cowboys in Townsville. Still better than playing Storm. I think we are in with a chance!

I'm also eating my words. Not sure we can get past the cows but go the Broncos!

Yes we did make it, but more by good luck than good management. Thanks to the Raiders and Panthers this week and the Bunnies and Knights last week. It would have been nice to have beaten the Storm and avoided both Qld teams meeting in the 1st week of the finals. I hope whoever wins that game can go on with it and give the top 4 sides a good shake up. I'm thinking it will be my 2nd favourite team the Cowboys, given they've beaten Manly last week, beaten Souths twice and smashed the Roosters earlier in the season. I think we're gonna get hammered!

This weekend Brisbane I thought were very good against Storm and deserve their place in top 8.

Warriors and Eels were terrible and didn't deserve a finals spot.

I'm happy for you guys, Griffin deserves it and Hunt, Parker and Hodges all were great the other night.

In saying that though I think Cowboys will run away with it in the 2nd half. But I guess you guys will be happy to have made the 8.

If you guys could go ahead and return the favour from tonight and knock out the Cows, that would be great.

Manly were missing the Stewart brothers and Ballin, it's no wonder the Cowboys beat them.

I'm happy for another week in the race. Happy for Ben Hunt, Parker, McGuire and Hodges who have put in all year.

However, I have consistently argued that a top eight gives too much reward for mediocrity, and again, making the finals when you've lost as many games as you've won is a very generous.

Can't see us beating the Cowboys with Matt Scott currently making over 150 metres a game and Thurston in best of career form. But stranger things have happened.

I'd run with:

1. Maranta
2. Vidot
3. Copley
4. Hodges
5. Kahu (Hoffman if fit, but it's unlikely)

Have Maranta catch the bombs and clean up the grubbers (which he's good at because he's actually a Fullback). Then have Hodges play Fullback in attack. Easy.

Yep that sounds good, shift Maranta to the wing in attack with Kahu in the centres. But I fully expect we will end up with a stop gap forward solution that will fail (maybe I'm at a little pessimistic)

Stopping Matt Scott will go a long way towards winning.
He shat all over us earlier in the season.
