Its definately a curse for them.

They fought hard to get that week off. But even though they might be fresher its still the Panthers who appear more settled. Absolutely no conjecture over our starting 17.
Enough with the pro Brad Schneider posts mate

I mean look at that Broncos team, then look at ours.

Surely Smoothy does not start at lock.

I'm wondering about it too.

They going Smoothy and Mam on the bench then? I don't like that either. They need some real impact and sustain off the bench because Papali'i and Henry are killing it right now.

I know he didn't play well when he came on but Garner might need to play a lot more minutes as Sorro is too slow laterally these days. He's the better defender but if he can't get into position to help Blaize then it's big trouble.
This was how the Galvin try came about. Ivan wouldn't have missed it.

That Broncos pack and especially that bench does not match up well with us.

If the Broncos are to be even competitive - their backs have to significantly outplay ours.

That is really their strength, dynamic running from their backs who are all dangerous, with some extremely so if they are on (Walsh, Mam). The thing about their backline is that their halves have no match fitness so there will be some clunkiness.

My only concern is if we don't stay disciplined, we will give them field position which will allow them to bomb our small wingers.

If we do stay disciplined and belt their pack, they don't even get field position to launch those attempts, and we get to kick deep early and run their back 3 ragged. I want to see Moses go after Haas again. If he plays like he did against the Dogs, that will go a LONG way to winning the game.

Karapani and Mariner aren't that tall. We're good enough to protect Biz and Paul from the high ball. Long range is their biggest threat. It'll be interesting to see if they play to their strength swinging left or focus on trying to exploit Blaize on the right.

I'm keen to see the battle with Leota and Haas as well but I think they'll come out and try and win it in the first 20 which plenty of sides do. They did it themselves in Magic Round and we just absorbed it and then put 2 tries on either side of halftime. I think it'll be that type of game from us again.

The edge defence will have to be far better. The left edge gives me nightmares but both don't do well vs fast players.

We probably need to counter mam coming on with fresh legs in garner. May mean he gets less mins if the hold mam to the second half but i think we need garners lateral speed if/when mam gets on.

Soro and martin need to have their best games of the year
