If the clubs cant get by without the dollars provided by the mugs who think they can make money on the Pokies, so be it . League has for too long taken the easy ( unconscionable) way out, in reaping its dollars from the purveyors of social evils ( The Winfield Cup, FFS!) and needs to get creative and socially responsible in its money making endeavours.

I think you are overstepping the mark there, mate . I believe they just need to be socially responsible and not sell their soul to the highest bidder. Not a lot to ask, i dont think.

Indeed it is, but if you try to diversify and it doesn't work straight away, WATCH OUT.

Mits is right on the money, parra are 98% reliant on gaming revenue, they dont have land around the club to diversify, they dont even own there car park, so they need to think long and hard about what they do and not kill the golden goose in the mean time.

alcohol consumption at the stadium is already controlled by a 2 drink limit and long queues, it is impossible to drink to much and actually get to watch the game. :sarcasm:

And they take care of the junk food consumption by making the food that disgusting you don't want to eat it. :crazy:
