The titans are going to spend as long as it takes to get rid of Hasler at the bottom of the ladder. They were totally disinterested against the dogs and the dogs are awful

I actually think benji was too arrogant and unteachable , Sheens gave up ..
Originally I thought there was a chance that Sheens just thought he was ready but that obviously can't be it!
Hooked the halfback in round 1.. he'll lose the dressing room by round 3.

Probably a lot of people were thinking
" good kick Thurston....got Benji pinned down back there now!....surround him and what's he gonna do?!" :)
He lost the journos for Rnd 3 but seemingly not the dressing room

The JD stuff is a little baffling to me. Souths looked nailed on to finish top 4 last season yet finished the season with the weakest of whimpers. It reeked of something bigger going on behind the scenes. The start to this season has made it more like he’s lost the dressing room. With that in mind I have no idea why the trigger wasn’t pulled 6 months ago. Instead they’ve wasted an offseason and opening month of a season on a coach who was dead to rights.

Des Hasler has earned millions of dollars for something he achieved in 2008 and 2011. It is extraordinary how many people at how many clubs have kept giving him jobs based on what he was doing during Obama's first term.

Might as well have Nancy Pelosi and Joe 'Depends' Biden co-coaching the Tits.

Couldn't do any worse.

Top 3 currently in line:

Demetriou - Unconvincing win last Friday
Hasler - Wooden spoon is looming large for the Titans
O’Brien - Unexpectedly weak start to the season by the Knights

I reckon O’Brien is ok. Knights aren’t actually playing terribly.
Bea Arthur should be above him…
Good call - the Knights aren't far off clicking into form, and 2 of their next 3 games (Dragons, Roosters, Bulldogs) are very winnable, which could spur some confidence in the squad.

The key problem for Parra is who they replace Brad with - as it stands, he can get them to mid-table pretty comfortably but he seems to be a modern day Brian Smith when it comes to playoffs.

They need someone who can not just get them playing September/October footy, but WINNING September/October footy.

1. Demetriou - The next month is crucial for him with Warriors, Sharks, Storm & Panthers next. They could potentially lose all 4 games and be 1-7. That would make it pretty hard for Souths to make top 4 and I’m sure that was the minimum target set for him at the start of the year. Wouldn’t surprise to see him sacked mid season if it has become obvious he’s lost the dressing room.

2. Brad Arthur - Similar to Demetriou the bar would’ve been set at top 4 minimum. Currently 2-2 and now without Moses for an extended period of time. Attack looked blunt after the 1st week without Moses. A bad 4 to 6 weeks without him could be a death notice for Brad. I doubt he would be sacked mid season though.

3. Des Hasler - At least the Titans could score points in previous seasons even if they let a lot in. Now they don’t do anything good. The only question is can the Titans afford to sack Hasler this early in his contract? That’s probably what saves him this season I’d say. But Titans management would be already thinking WTF???

Leading contenders after Round 2:

Demetriou
Ciraldo
Part-time Benji
I think the bottom 2 on your list are looking much safer now. Dogs haven’t shown it in wins but there’s definitely a noticeable improvement. A bit of luck and they could’ve got Souths.

Benji looking like Christ the Saviour now.
