Anyone think Lewis can crack it this year, Maybe off the bench as an all round forward replacement. He has good skill, reminds me heaps of a young Andrew Ryan.

Horo and Richardson look to have something as well. I really think they could become excellent 2nd rowers.

Very good ball skills. I reckon he can grab a bench spot but there will be plenty of players competing for them.

Horo yes, Richardson is an out and out centre. No idea why Smith and Robinson tried to turn him into a backrower - he did well but is a much better centre.

I like David Baumann...He is a good player..(probably as good an asset as Mick Lett..:lol:

I think Lewis will be fighting for the backrow spot (either starting or on the bench) with Horo, Weller, T.Robenson and Baumann. He could be a genuine starter, and is very Ryan like. I rate Lewis above Baumann, and would have Horo in there aswell. If Hauraki can pick up his act he cant be left out, so it will be a good fight for the remaining spot.

It seems to me that the better skilled and aggressive players in our juniors are the lighter guys in the squad. That may just be a false impression I have, but I fear it is close to true.
