In 80 minutes if you only compete for 25% of the game you really have to question how fit are these players !

I don't think fittness is the problem. It's the bench that's the problem, in particular Buchanan. Our starting rotation gives us such a great start and it's evident that once they all come off the wheels fall off. By he time they come back on it's to late and usually all over.

from those it would appear that we are wrapping up the ball much better this year, but our one on one contact and defence hasn't really changed much compared to the same time last year.

Although it's worth noting, that at this time last year, the Tigers had won 5 and lost 2. In 2015 we have 3 wins and 4 losses.

We've made a full games worth and then some, of extra tackles this year compared to last year and still our tackling efforts are all better this year.

A fault with our defence in previous seasons apart from all the arm tacklers in the team was that the WT failed to continually put the ball player on the ground or roll them onto their backs, this season they have been better with their line speed and in the wrestle. However when fatigue, momentum and pressure are applied against the WT they again can be found struggling in these areas.

Definitely agree that our first contact and wrestle is better this year. Linespeed too, though that has really dropped off the last two weeks for whatever reason.
We still haven't really figured out the ruckspeed officiating as of yet, and thus are being punished accordingly by the whistle.

Funny thing is Moller we seem to be clearing the tackled player almost to quickly and allowing opponents plenty of momentum , and yes we are still getting pinged for it where a lot of times the calls arent reciprocal when the opposition are holding way longer :(
