That's a bit harsh, he finished the year very well at No. 9. In fact he was one of the best in a vastly improved sharks side.

I agree with McSharkie, but I still don't know what Gibson did to be dropped. Bosnich doesn't have Gibson's speed, but he puts more big hits on, makes a mountain load of tackles and is the best off-loader on the team. Nine offloads against the Dogs if I remember correctly.

I think Bosnich is better either in the second row or playing off the bench. I'm not sure what Gibson did wrong but the rumour has been that while Anderson is with the club, Gibson won't get another run in first grade (unless there is some massive injury crisis). Apparently he was a bit vocal about questioning the coaching methods, but I don't know how true it is.

Hopefully someone in the know can give us the facts on the matter.
