No-but I think it has been true ever since he left that there is an issue with the dynamic between our halves. Tricky and Nicho both have the style and or/temperament that means they play best when “leading the team”.

Each of them has played decent footy alongside Atkinson this year.

Last week, when Nicho played like a shy debutant, Tricky had a great game, but that dynamic was short lived.

Apart from the fact that I think Nicho is cooked and that he will never regain first grade standard form, I’ve never been sold on the dynamic of these two as the halves, and I don’t think we can go any further in a season than we just did without something changing positionally (at a minimum) for Nicho.
