Putting Fitzy in the number 5 tells me the coach has had enough of his defensive flaws .
We can only hope Kempy dosent aim their attack at him .

You can hide him at 5/8 , but not in the number 3 .

Hmmmm :?

I reckon if the coach thinks his tackling aint up to it then he'd find himself in reggies.

How can anyone hide at 5/8? Along with the half and dummy half they have the ball in their hands the most. Been givin the chardonnay a nudge, trace??

Against Manly, they scored most of their tries down his wing, so thats hardly gunna hide his 'defensive flaws' either.

And with 18 cameras at each game.....bench players, coaches, trainers and even ball boys cant hide....just ask Langmack when he was at Shark Pk and the camera caught him with a finger up his nose.

Its good to see you come alive ink .
You must get tired sitting and waiting to smear your sarcasm in here .

Do they have the ball in their hand in defence?

Sterlo was a great example of hiding a player in defence. Its pretty easy

What a life you lead . Your my hero

Hmm, well Fitzy is up against Fa'afili, who isn't the best of form latley. I think they're about equal in both attack and defence. That Manu Vatuvai might be a problem for Fitzy though should he encounter him :?

Could be. Maybe at Measrie's expense. But agreed, 5/8th? He isn't a 5/8th's bootlace. Centre, he's quick, but isn't a top class one. Wibng and Hooker seem to be his primary positions. One thing i will commend Baa on, in 2002, he threw Fitzhenry into Fullback, and he excelled. But it's not like you can tell Hodgo to move

You could be right, but i think Sheens is just utilising his utility value.

Its been a while but I think youd hardly call Bert inadequate in the defensive dept.
For a guy that represented at the highest levels and achieved just about everything there is to achieve in the game, I reckon he's a genius to get that far if he couldn't tackle.

Its all to do with Fitzy's utility Value IMO. Im al little surprised that he's not at 5/8 though, i would've rather fitzy than white legs thats for sure.

Fitzy--every weeks he is in a new position-would not be doing the confidence a lot-I think his long term future is a poor mans wing--carry three forwards on the bench and fitzy covers the backline and hooker.Probably work pretty well--I think you will find this week stacey jones-cross field bombs aimed at him all day--not a big bloke so could struggle a touch
