Not too concerned just yet but a couple of things.

Hutch has had chances in a couple of FG games last year, the 9's and now the CS and I'm yet to see what all the hype is and why he gets so many wraps in the 20's. Am I missing something? Not convinced Benji is a long term number 7, but Hutch was ordinary tonight. Cody Walker had the type of game I thought Hutch would tonight.

I'm keeping my faith in Lafai, but he needs to be playing better to keep Aitken out of FG. Do the Dogs know something we don't?

we r only talking about tonite, so keep that in check, but On tonite, Lafai was clueless. Hope he changes my mind, but he wont be a centre based on tonite. Aitken / Dugan will be ahead of him by some margin.

Hutch is a way off first grade, again based on the CS.

If anything tonite showed the value of marshall, Cooper, Flo, and missing Friz / Dugan / Widdop.

Not much else.

I had previously said some weeks ago that we would have a problem with cohesion given the turnover of players we have had. That coupled with injuries will mean our early season form may be a bit patchy.

Playing league in 30 plus degree heat makes the trial pretty meaningless.

I've had a bloody gutful of Mitch rein. the club has persisted with him for too long now and it's time for them to tell him he's no longer wanted. the guy can't improve. when u have second grade players constantly outplaying him u have a real issue. he's screwing up our forwards rhythm and screwing our attack at the start of every play and that's before we even start talking about his errors.

I've had fckn enough of the guy
