Others have said it but great thread!

It shows the junior pathways are working which hopefully encourages other juniors to stay.

It is always going to be cheaper to recruit from within than to buy externally.

Looking at the Panthers side you can really see the rewards that can be reaped having players who spent much of their junior years playing footy together.

When is the current Newtown deal running to?
That's the big one imo - encouraging juniors to stay

Its clear that there's a path to first grade via our juniors and can't be understated imo.

Nikora seems to need to either be brought into the game by the halves or go looking for the ball a bit more, the game looks to drift by him sometimes. Probably no coincidence his best games were with johnson and the combination they struck up.
Nikora's natural tackling technique is ridiculously good.

Victor is just timing with brute force.
Cam Murray is like a wrestler who knows how to use the other guys body weight to bring him down without being injured.
No better defenders in the comp.

Nikora isn't far behind. His most effective defence is one on one. Maybe he gets it wrong when gang tackling but he can miss too often in that tackle.
His ability to pull guys down by himself close to the line when they are all but over for a try is 2nd to none.

Frenzy.

Probably would be thread of the year if anyone could give a fekk resurrecting the awards.

It did get boring having me as poster of the year all the time though.

Where he is behind is that he drifts in and out and doesn't "appear" to be as committed. Looking forward to see what FitzShark can bring out of him.
