Flanagan has to go...

Is it just me or does anyone else think Flanagan's a bit of a waste of space. At the start of the year he was a lot more involved and had an attacking element to his game, little 1-2 run arounds etc. But for the last 10 weeks he's not offering up anything in attack, he makes no metres and his defence is serviceable without having any real impact.

I think the grind of the season has got to him. Let's not forget he hadn't even played a full season of ESL before he came here.

I think Moors has to have his bench spot. Seems he's one of Sheensy's love children though.

Moors is a impact back rower come prop. If he were to replace anyone in the structure it would be Dwyer but I believe with the raps has on SHeens it will never happen and Skando will remian there for the next two weeks.

Flanagan is a real chance to drop off if Ellis returns though

I'd be giving Dwyer more game time. Payten can play the role that Flanagan is playing, but heaps better, or he can cover at Prop, whatever the situation requires. We already have 3 starting backrowers that can go 80 if need be. Once Ellis is back i'd have:

11.Ellis
12.Heighington
13.Fulton

14.Moors
15.Dwyer
16.Payten
17.Skando/Gower or Fitz/Daniela/Brown (I know Sheens will go this option)

I know Sheens loves the ridiculous notion of carrying a back on the bench for their 3 mins of game time. Sure it came in handy against the Cows, but that doesn't justify the rest of the year when it was a complete waste of time. If there was an injury in the backs during the game, Fulton could easily cover the centres. So can Ellis as he did many times in the ESL.

I think Moors has been named on the bench this week for the Magpies. If this is true you would think he has either fallen way out of favour with Sheens or will be an inclusion on the bench.

If he's on the bench in NSW Cup then you could almost be safe in saying that Sheens doesn't like him.

Moreso when he takes Skando from the Wests NSW Cup Bench and puts him in NRL.

Completely agree he will struggle to hold a contract. He should be last in the pecking order of backrowers.
Ellis
Heighno
Dwyer
Payton
Fulton
Moors
Mataka

Agree with every word. Especially the grind bit.

I agree with Moors being more of a wide-running backrower than a prop, but I'd rather him at prop than Skandalis, or anyone else Sheens wants to put there.

Also, I think Dwyer was great on Monday night. He's going to be a very, very good player.
