Reddy was so clever, tough, brilliant, intelligent and intimidating - loved watching him do his stuff.
I know we discussed this before but I just loved Rocket standing over the bloke playing the ball and kneeing them in the head to get them back on the mark.

Loved watching him and Les Boyd dishing it out to the Pomm’s.

On the last Kangaroo tour to England for the pair of them Frank Stanton was asked why he picked Boyd and he said “that was easy Les hates the Pomm’s”

The reporter then asked why he picked Reddy and he laughed and he said “well he hates Boyd and the Pomm’s”.

Our best #13 arguably since Raper but he has been leading our pack, albeit by deed and inspiration whether playing lock or prop. Cant officially lead as he has been wrongly banned from captaincy. Jeez he was exonerated and a bloody cop lied under oath which helped trash his reputation. Has the NRL since apologized over his unfair treatment, based on lies.

Graham Buckley played in our 79 premiership team. Fantastic player. Captain coached in Wauchope for years. Unfortunately died some 5 or 6 years back . A very good lock forward
A Peakhurst Hawks Jnr and a few years behind me at high school.

He snuck away with us on an end of season trip to Taree one year and we had him sitting on a stool in the corner of Fotheringhams Pub and the one up the main drag.

Good all round sportsman and terrific footballer right through juniors.

His older brother Wayne should have made 1st grade also but a few things got in the road of that.

Graham won a MOM with Rex Mossop and went on the show to get his award quite a shy young kid and Rex was very complimentary of him.

Another that passed too early.

I thought Rocket's debut was against Parra at Kogarah 1972 we won 22-0 and there was 'A Star Is Born' headline in RLW - but may be wrong CC and OT are a little older than me
