He needs to be close. But it wouldn't make any difference if he went to Zimbabwe; his mum is staying right where she is! At least now he knows where to find her.
Keistering is more difficult from Zimbabwe.

Good post i totally agree unlikely to get him (Hass) but throw everything at him anyway including flights back to Qld whenever he wants. If not go really hard for King he has red & white blood handed down to him or go hard for both !!Saints have no chance of getting Haas. He will stay in Qld I feel as he has all his family there and appears to be there biggest source of support. If not Saints should throw the book at him. Worth every cent. All Flanno has to say, "remember what I achieved with Gallen and Fafita. With you I can do the same. I have form and now how to get there". The others bar Bellamy, Robbo, Cleary and Bennett only can do the same. Madge is out of the picture seeing Haas is at the Broncs now. Hasler is the only threat but he is on thin ice I feel.
Max King is the guy Saints should go hard for now. Dogs are buying all these players and the cap must surely be pretty thin with funds. Leo Thompson going there next season. Sexton is on peanuts and Mahoney on 650 apparently. King is worth around 800k and I feel can price the Dogs out of keeping him. Plus he made Origin so NRL would expect him to be worth more. He is currently on 350-450k. Preston also on the market and he is on 350-450k. They will or dare I say should struggle to keep both on 750k each so 1 will go and I feel they will rather Preston. Max King is a more realistic target. King and LPT will be solid bookends for 2026.
The mind boggles....unfortunately.He needs to be close.

The only issue with that is his brother is a back rower and our young crop of back rowers shit all over himPayne Hass and his Brother from Titans are keen to play at the same club .
Flanno and New Ceo get onto it start negotiating and plan the Hass family to all move to the Dragons as a package.
If it means getting Payne, I’d be cool to give his bro Michael Molo’s spot in the squad. The only issue with that is his brother is a back rower and our young crop of back rowers shit all over him
If we get King, someone will complain we bought a journeyman because he's already been to 4 clubs.Good post i totally agree unlikely to get him (Hass) but throw everything at him anyway including flights back to Qld whenever he wants. Unfortunately possm there is no one competent enough at the club to get that kind of deal doneThe Dragons have the salary cap, to 30 space and urgent need to sign Hass. The sales needed to be presented is that we have a very good pack with young juniors who desperately need a young marquee apha prop to lead them.
With the instability of the Broncos v Mage situation, Flanno and the new CEO should be able to design an irresistible deal that Haas would find attractive:
5 year deal
1.8m p/a
1 x Qantas flight a week to visit hi mom in QLD
A house on the beach in the Gong for his family.
A new Car.
His manager to arrange a 5-year 3rd party agreement of 200k p/a.
Good deal or not?
Smarter clubs would have already drafted up an offer while we are mulling over bringing back Weyman. The Dragons have the salary cap, to 30 space and urgent need to sign Hass. More importantly, where is the salary cap auditor?Haas is a marquee front rower, so is Reynolds is a marquee half, so is Walsh a marquee fb, and the list goes on, but where are the Broncs in the ladder! Let's face it. It is not enough to get a marquee player because he has a marquee tag. We have to see if he will be a great fit for the club culture. The last marquee we got Hunt, turned out to be a dud. One thing about Flanno I admire is he is good at identifying talent that will be good for the club. The 3 top players we got this year Flanno, Cook and Valentine they have passed their marquee days, but look at their performance. They may not win us a championship, but they are helping us bring up young guns like Couchmans, Stuart, Egan, Passifiki and King. And there are more that are coming up. That is why every team is after our young guns. Who knows these young guns that we are developing in 5 years may win us a premiership.
Haas is a quality bloke and far too good for those posers and shit humans at the donkeys.Haas is a marquee front rower, so is Reynolds is a marquee half, so is Walsh a marquee fb, and the list goes on, but where are the Broncs in the ladder!
