Flegg team - under the radar

Interesting this year, we are leading the comp in the Flegg and very little being said on the forum, in recent years some of the players have generated plenty of interest in how they were going and if they could manage to raise through the grades.

I am hoping we can yet again get another half dozen of these players to move through to apply pressure in next couple of years, espically with our cap issue if we can get a couple of these to perform like our rookies this year will be massive help.

Probably what need most if we can have a winger come through and most probably back up hooker as well, but again lets hope we snag a few of these guys who can continue to develop

Hopefully some wingers and centres as that is what we are short on.

And we’ll need another hooker as more than likely Jayden will leave sooner rather than later.

32 - 14 win over the Bears today.

Nice lead up top of the table. Not sure who’s impressing most but seems to be a team performance season over one or two guns.

The side is one of the older sides with plenty of the comp winning 2018 team still running around. Monty Raper (c), Vito Tevaga, Tom Caughlan and Jayden Millard are the most notable but there are some more as well that played last year. About 12-13 of them

That’s a big advantage. The smokies will be the Panfas who absolutely walloped The Sharks to the tune of 50-10.

However, the team could get Braydon Trindall back with SJ coming back into firsts and PJ dropping back down. Braydon is still Flegg eligible and as played at least one game this year I know of

Is one of the guns a fullback? Good one coming through apparently. Unsure of grade though.

Yeah. Jonaiah Lualua. Kicks goals as well. Has a half a dozen tries as well.

I think he has a brother as well who was in Flegg last year. Aperaamo Lualua. Haven’t seen his name anywhere this year though

Did the flegg guys have the same shitty attitude

was there some big party that all these players were invited to on Saturday night ? That often seems to be the case with these unexpected losses.

Jet's wasn't an attitude thing as much. It was getting totally dominated by a better forward pack. RFM or what ever his name is must have had a 1000 tackle breaks

Yeah, I noticed that at the ground, and then when their forwards got tired towards the end the show ponies scored 2 quick tries in 3 minutes to make the scoreboard a bit more respectable. From what I've seen of the jets this year, they make a good touch footy side.
