The blokes we played last night are at best a top 4 premier league side and they were just too big and quick for us, it was actually 12 nil before we touched the ball.

An ex Roosters jersy flegg player once told me the money he received from the club last year enabled him to play club Rugby this year, because thats what he prefered but will go back to the Roosters next year. as he's running out of the money :shock:

I am confident that the score would of been much closer had we had the following players out there.

who were all eligible to play but didn't play or start the game.

true, no doubt about that.

but the Roosters never suffered with the loss of players to Prems and firsts like we had during the season, they most certainly kept the nucleaus of that side throughout the year.

Yeh I agree with that. The last two years both lower grades have been hammered and swapped and changed becuase of the injuries our first grade team has sustained. Bit of a shame because we have the talent to really dominate. 2005 Eels Club champions

I haven't seen all these kids play, but I've seen Smith (Ben), Mateo, Afamasaga and Tim Smith play, and I really think if these guys played or started it would have been a much, much tighter game.

have to disagree with you they are an unbelievable side there are atleast 6 players who would walk into Souths first grade team Soward, Willie Tupou, Ale, Hoppa and both their props and their fullback they without doubt the greatest Flegg side in history and allthough we would compete I can't see us winning in the end.

his father, whom I know quite well refers him as the GOOD son!! :lol: how funny is that.

It's a shame for rugby league that he'll be lost to the game as he's turning his hand to the ministry, for atleast 2 years before a lucrative contract awaits him at the waratahs.
