I am hoping the release of Vete is allowing the signing of Luke. Cameron Smith would not be a good signing for a new club. He stays at Melbourne or retires.

Seriously I am worried if we don't have cap space for Luke, we must be seriously over paying some players - in reality only RTS, Harris and potentially Johnson are really at the top end in their position - Luke has been this year, and at various stages in his career but has been a bit of a lemon signing overall - which begs the question should we re-sign someone who only appeared to be professional in the last year of his contract?

Basically never tackled with the ball.
No major injuries.
Has to do a fair bit of tackling in the middle of the park though.
Give him a rostered week off after 6 or so games to give his body a rest.
Smart player.

But could drop off a cliff like JT.
