Food for Thought (Attacking Football)

Chelsea had more goal attempts in the Nou Camp and at Stamford Bridge against Barcelona. Apparently Chelsea are a defensive, boring team and Barcelona a team that plays attacking football.

Mourinho is a horrible man and Rikard is very honorable. Yet Rikard is the one storming onto the pitch and surrounding the ref.

Im baffled.

On attacking football - credit for tonight's miraculous 3 all draw with the Central Coast must go to Ernie Merrick's selections. Down by two men you might've forgiven him for going into damage control, but the injections of Sarkies and Allesandro blew things right open (particularly the latter).

John Terry?

Worst offender r.e surrounding the ref. Every time the whistle is blown he's there.

Chelsea employed defence + counter-attack tactics and along with Barca's open-style play (defence and attack) then it's no surprise that an underperforming Barca would concede more shots on goal.

Also considering the small :)sarcasm:) loss of eto'o...
