He is so gone! You could see it in his eyes. If he was staying with Newcastle then he would have said it tonight. He'll announce he is going to Union tomorrow for sure!!

I knew there would be no decision soon as they announced they were having an SMS poll lots of money to be made from those. Helps pay for his 10 year contract.

The only thing I saw they may indicate he stays with league is when he mentioned about being in South Africa and missing his sons first day of school. That to me was a small indication that league may keep him.

It was all an attempt to grab ratings for Ch.9 and the floundering Footy Show

It took them 45 minutes to talk about Football. I haven't watched that show for years.. it's worse then when I stopped watching it.

hmmm...i dunno...i could have sworn he said "i cant tell you tonight" as in "i know what i am doing but i cant announce it here". he had great trouble looking at both Matt and the Chief - particularly the Chief who was a blubbering mess - thats passion for the club for you.

his head was down a lot - and as much as the guy has pissed me and alot of people off over the last few weeks - he honestly looked in two minds with things. and i came out of the interview liking the guy.

my honest thoughts - i dont know what he is going to do. i knew there wasn't going to be an answer when the poll came up like everyone else. but why put yourself through that if you know you are going to disenchant a whole lot of people? whats in it for him?

just make the decision sooner rather than later Joe...for the first time in weeks i hope he stays.
