I think what you meant to say was “we have won more premierships than any other rugby league team on the planet”. Had you of said that you still would have been wrong. I believe a Queensland cup side has won more than that.

Perhaps you meant to say “we have won more premierships than any other professional rugby league team on the planet”. Had you of said that you would of been correct, although Wigan is only one behind. Congratulations on that achievement by the way. I can’t say I remember any of those premierships, in fact my mother was 5 the last time 50uff$ won one.

I am all about modern achievements and 50uff$ have one at the moment that really is something to behold. It has been well over 20 years since they have even had a winning season. I don’t know of any other professional sporting side anywhere in the world that has more. The Pittsburgh Pirates have 18 I believe.

I believe the OP said "winning season". An Amco Cup doesn't qualify as a winning season and neither does runner up in a Super League Grand Final.

FTR, the Amco cup later became the Panasonic Cup which South Sydney won in 81. A couple of years later than the Sharks won it as the Amco Cup.
