For those who want Fittler sacked as a commentator...

As for Freddy, funny stuff. Good to have someone who doesn't just use stupid f**king cliches or spout their own agenda all the time.

Loved the commentary from Freddy.
Especially when he went quiet after pomeroy scored.

Great stuff.

I like Fittler... It's so refreshing to see some genuine unpolished honest comments from a commentator.

Especially compared to someone like Laurie Daley... Daley's sideline comments: "The team that scores the most points will win the game, _______ have to be the next to score."

Lauries in depth analysis "They will be looking to play well" or "They will be looking to try to score here"

Brad Fittler just plays it natural - massive fan. He tries to give the insiders perspective and he does try to stiff the message.

I rate Greg Alexander as the best analyser of the game. He's not afraid to put people on the spot or make the uncomfortable call, he basically says it like he see's it without the frills and doesn't come across as self important or noisy for the sake of being noisy.

Rabs is still a fantastic on ball commentator.

I think channel 9 has the right mix. Gould probably just needs to check himself from time to time as he can get caught up in negativity. His colour commentary during the recent Broncos v Saints game was ridiculous, like he got caught up in his own prejudice. He's better than that and just needs to get his perspective back.

Freddy is fun to listen to, I'll take him every game of the week over just about anyone else. That schoolboy crack Johnsy laid on him last night cracked me up.

BLKOUT!

Freddie's hilarious. Last thing we want is the mega-serious 50 person commentary teams the AFL have in an effort to look "professional'.
