Force em back

Kick it and (a) if somebody catches it on the full, they can take three steps over the mark and reef it back down field or (b) if nobody marks it then they kick from where they stop it (I have played the "where you touch it" rule but you need a video ref to stop the arguments for finger tip touches) and (c) kick it on the full over some designated line then that's a point.

This. Makes it simple AND forces people to take control, not just throw a paw out in hope.

Totally agree with Thomas ... has to be the person who catches it who then kicks it. Also a knock forward has to go back to the fumble mark. Any comments about if it goes "out" on the full?

Get the kick from where they kick it from memory.

Also played it throwing a vortex and hitting a ball (throw it up in the air and hitting it).

Force em back as far as I'm concerned. Me and my mates still play it down at the local footy ground it's great fun. A good variant we often employ is drop kicking since we all have pretty decent kicks on us. Kick wherever you collect it from, if you catch it you get to take 5 very long leaps :D
