South sport what about statistics like
Is he getting the forward pack continuously rolling over the advantage line
Is he controlling the games speed
Is he creating opportunities around the ruck
Is he providing fast effective service from dummy half
Is he continuously making a fast 10 m from play the ball b4 he throws a flat ball to big forward

I'm not having a go at Cam at all I'm just saying there's more important facets to the game than statistics alone
I honestly don't think Cook is our answer either
The best no 9 in the team in my opinion is Keary ,except in defence he gets brushed aside sometimes
He is fast ,great service ,takes it to the line, gets the forwards dominating rolling forward with fast play the balls
Either I'm blind with no idea at all or the best no 9 has been under Madges nose the whole time
I realise he has his flaws in defence but sharing the job with cam would be great then move Kearny out to 6 and roll on

Yeah, I agree with you there, I like Keary at #9.

souths have handled the management of the #9 position - the most important position on the field - absolutely horrendously.

Had Luke established with Peats coming through.
Peats needed more opportunities and let him go.
Koraisau on the books, was a difference maker in premiership game win, released him because the club had Luke.
A season later, Luke requests a release and let him go. I can understand the goodwill, but it left the club in an extremely state when it came to the position. Talk was about McInnes or Cook coming through but their quality was unknown. So far, they've been poor.
