So please expand your view re Turner???

Why does he disappoint you??
He's ok, but I believe Sutton and Crichton are better. I believe they have more of a chance of bending or breaking the line, and when we're attacking the try line, Sutton and Crichton have more of a chance of scoring by running a good line. Sutton also has a bit of a kicking game and can be moved to five eighth in an emergency, and Crichton can offload and can be moved to the centres in an emergency. I don't think Turner is all that good in defense when moved to the centres.

I'm not a Souths fan however after drafting Rochow in fantasy I was keen to watch more of their games closely.

Turner and Tyrell are seriously the most average NRL players I have ever seen. Rochow was good with the mins he got.

The side is way way structured and clunky. As a Bulldogs fan I feel like I'm watching them play twice per week at the moment. I think Souths need huge changes to their forwards.

8. Musgrove
9. Farah
10. Rochow
11. Sutton
12. Crichton
13. Burgess.

please add clark to your list and you got the trifecta and my respect mr bulldog...Shadow...

1. Kelly, Tyrrell, Clark and Turner. George and Tom must lift too!!!! Talakai must be used in the back row off the bench.

2. We needed to keep Brown. We should have chased a guy like Vaughan or Matagi.

3. Our depth is thin. I agree there.

4. We are overpaying a few players which is a problem.

5. Yes very bad decision by Madge.

6. We need to try and get Dylan Walker back to someone similar to him.

Ofehengaue seems on the outs at the Broncos. Let's chase him. He's an upgrade on Tyrrell or Clark.

santa claus would be an upgrade on tyrrell and clark combined...

He can't do much when our forward pack is getting beaten. Our forward pack used to be one of our biggest strengths, and now they get dominated by Wests Tigers' pack, of all teams! It's not good enough! I believe a part of that problem is Madge's selections, but some players need a rocket up their arse!

Wests Tigers of all teams, you talk as if it's unusual you dumb merkin. The last 4 times we played you guys we've rolled you up the middle. Should be no surprise

You underrate our pack

IMO Ofahenguie is the same player that we currently have. No different to the twins, Musgrove or Cherrington. Sutton needs to move to the bench. Crichton must come into the starting team. Our backrowers are too slow.

I think he could be good for a few years until the twins develop. We have a bit of cash to spend as well considering we re-signed all our big name players before the new cap rises.

Who would you scout out Diego? I'm curious to see your answer.
I wouldn't scout out more props until something is sorted out about the twins. We've stacked our cap towards the burgii, so they either have to earn there money or leave so someone who can do the job can take their place. to take the farm metaphor I used in another thread about our forwards, we have 2 expensive tractors not doing their job. Buying Matt Scott would be like buying a third, older tractor that already has mechanical issues. The options you'd take before getting that 3rd expensive tractor would be a) can the current tractors be fixed. B) can we swap those tractors for something or c) can we sell those tractors.
Buying Scott would be a risky attempt to cover over a mistake we've made. Ofahengui would just become another dud like grant or Rochow.
The twins situation needs to be fixed before any other props come in. The problem is they are contracted until 2018. No NRL clubs will take them off our hands, I'd be surprised if either would go back to the superleague (although being a world cup year might help). We might be able to trade them, but no NRL club will swap a decent prop for the twins. We may have to do a swap in another position. For example warriors have lolohea, a decent fullback/half who is surplus to needs atm in Auckland, while at the same time need front rowers. We would take a financial hit on the deal, but considering we have one of our highest paid players at the bears it may be worth it. At the end of the day we can't keep making panic deals to try cover the mistakes of the past. That would send us into a spiral that eagles and knights are currently in. We made a few mistakes after our gf win, aj and twins upgrade, the way we got Sam back, inglis big deal that's backfired now his injured. We may have to just take the hit for a year or 2 while our cap situation normalises. In the meantime we have a lot of youngsters that can gain experience similar to 2010-11.
