i am an international test player
i have played rugby league at 4 different clubs in 4 different states in australia
i have also played for 2 english rugby league clubs
i have played in every back line position and i was a talented goal kicker
at my 1st club i received the rookie of the year award
at my 2nd club i set a club record for most tries in a match (3), most tries in a season (12), most goals in a match (8), most points in a match (24) and most points for a season (116)
i then played at 2 more different clubs for only one season each before going to england
in england i scored 23 tries in a season and i scored a total of 34 points in one game alone

Graham APPO's the one--the Papua New Guinea player!!

Appo played on the wing for New Guinea at Test level.

They're the only south supporters on here to have seen previous premierships before 2014 haha. Tbh the fact that they've been through all that shit as a Souths supporter says a lot about they're loyalty. Could've easily switched teams when they got kicked out.

74 yrs on 6th Jan;18. 1944 birth year. Have seen all Sths p/ships since 1955. ie.6 p/ships.

I would have been well aware of their 51,53 & 54 wins too,being from a diehard Sths family & living in the district but I didn't actually watch those GFs.

I believe this player is Brian BATTESE who won a p/ship with the DOGS in 1984.[also in 1985]

He did rep 4 Sydney clubs in the NSW RLs first grade comp--Wests,Easts,Canberra[which is not Sydney really] & the Dogs.
He was a Sth Lismore jnr who won a GF with Wynnum/Manly in Brisbane before going to Wests in Sydney;his first Sydney club.
He also played 2 seasons for Salford in England.
