Whenever I saw a Souths U20s game over the last few years, the Souths U20s team was always tiny across the park vs the other teams. Souths don't compete for the best juniors but then feel obligated to bring through a few of these U20s players each year and they are too small for NRL. From there it is hard to build a strong squad

Souths don't produce power forwards through their U20s. Ignoring the Burgess imports who are a one off, how many Souths U20s forwards in the last few years have gone on to make 100m a game consistently in the NRL???
