That's not much of an answer. If you're opposed to gay marriage for religious reasons, that's fine. But it's not really a reason to deny other people (especially non-religious people) that right. It's authoritarianism.

God has helped me so much in my life and I have had moments where I was so low and I'd get shivers down my spine and back and that's God letting me know he was there for me.....

Jerusalem was sacked by king Nebuchadnezzar and the Israelites were held captive in Babylon until he was overthrown by the Medo/Persian empire some 70 years later I think it was and the Israelites were set free, many didn't return to the promised land but spread across Europe.

If you are referring to the bible you must be thinking of the Old Testament, at the crucifixion of Christ there was a New Testament that promises love and forgiveness, we only need to ask, but we can't ask for forgiveness and then continue to do the wrong thing.

There wasn’t a new testimony at the crucifixion that’s just factually incorrect.
