Four Broncos cleared of sex assault allegations

Yes the woman should be pubically named and reputation destroyed, just like what happened to the 3 Broncos players.

Are you an idiot?? Just because they werent charged that doesnt mean that that the act in question never happened.

Hunt & Thaiday need to pull their heads in. Even though they havent had to face charges this will be a stain on their careers. Two blokes who are seen as the future of the club have let down the club who have made them household names (not to mention wealthy) in a massive way.

As for Boyd im happy to see the back of him.

obviously police checked lockyno1's corridor & discovered no semen beside the gerbil.

either that or he fessed up to initiating the cubicle encounter.

Watching Hunt and Boyd on Ch 9 news they admit they have brought shame on themselves and are sorry for the grief they have imposed on their close relatives.

We can dispense with this " media beat up " approach. There was no way the Queensland police were going to charge them but it is pleasing to see the Broncos club taking action against them. Besides the $20000 fine they have been denied sponsorship money amounting to many thousands.

If there's any blame to go around its with the woman IMO Her character is more in question if you ask me, goes into male toilets with 3 guys for oral sex hmmmm says alot about her.
Says as much about the (male) players in the toilets for the same act as it says about her...

No charges are being laid against anyone, but if you are going to caste aspersions on character there's plenty of people involved to share it -not just the woman painted as a whore while the participating men are held up as heroes for some strange reason?

They were always going to be cleared when the Queensland Police commissioner told everyone to go out and support the Bronco's when the story broke..

Credit to Hunt though for showing some remorse..

Yeah it sure was what with months of media coverage, several newspaper articles and an investigation that was completely played out in the media.

Sounds more like you've been swept under a carpet.

If you want to be one of those conspiracy theory idiots, then yes.

But if you wanted to look at the way things actually work, its the CDPP who decides whether charges should be filed. And i dont think thats Judy Spence.

Second of all, look at some other cases to these with similar circumstances like Coffs Harbour with the bulldogs and Anthony Laffranchi, where either no charges were filed, or charges were thrown out due to lack of evidence.

Any case where its one word against another with no other witnesses or evidence put forward is never going to hold up in court.

It also may be consented until the woman seen the camera, and said stop and the players did, if there was footage and sound on the phone and it was heard the complaint was about the filming then it wasnt raped insufficent evidence for that charge
