Back-to-back wins over the two worst teams in the comp - the Warriors and Knights - have given Griffin some bargaining power and the club is now back in the hunt for a finals spot - although they still have plenty of work to do.

The club lost seven of its first nine games before coming good against the Warriors and Knights - but even in those games, they struggled at times and were lucky to take the points.

Bargaining power my arse no other club would want him except the Tweed Heads Seagulls.

He is off contract at the end of next year I wouldn't be in a rush to extend his contract.

Might be the same points but last year when we lost we still looked like we could win. The first Sharks game we scored more tries but Soward forgot how to kick. This year they have looked genuinely bad.

Same could be said about this year though. Peachey passes it to Blake we beat Roosters. 22 all v Souths Latu was incorrectly penaltised costing us the chance to win. If Tamou's try was given v Broncos. We are up 6-0 instead of being behind 22-0. A few other BS calls went against us.

While I wouldn't be in a rush to re sign him. We have rarely gone to the finals in back to back seasons. was 90-91 and 2003-04 the only times? So the finals appearance should see him get next year. From then see how we are sitting say round 10 next year

By far the worse team. Though it was 16-6 when Leota dropped his over the line. same score when TMM dropped his ball. 28-16 or something would of been a more fitting scoreline.

Only the Roosters and Souths games do I say we should of won. Broncos, Storm and Parra were games that may of played different had things of gone different

Fair enough. That does add some perspective to things.
I also said some of the same things about those games. Particularly the Melbourne game.
