Trouble is every old footballer is going to have a bias to his old club....Fatty and Gus come to mind as two of the most blatant ones. We need some commentators that can be a bit more discreet about there bias to seem to be impartial. Guys that havn't played the game (Like Voss & T.K) dont seem to have the credability in the publics' eyes.

Its cause they're absolute wankers.

How DELLightful i wont have to put up with this DELLuded fool on the TV anymore.
Couldnt stand his constant self promotion. Thankyou foxtel for DELLeting the merkin off my DELLevision.

Get a sense of humour will ya! His talk ups were for entertainment, not for his egos sake.

Webcke would be a good addition. Pearce should be the next to go. Girdler would be good as well.

Geyer won't be commentating I don't think. He said he now has his weekends free to watch his kids play sport.

I would run a big red line through:

Tallis
Pearce
Ikin
Sailor

Wish it was possible to dublicate like 5 Daley's. Commentary bliss.

Now you're talking. The commentary for each set would consist of a call of the first tackle and then a long winded, repetitive diatribe centred on holding the ball and getting into good field position being imperative in the game of Rugby League.

I won't watch anything with Tallis, complete moron. Not overly fond of watching dell, and the roast is going to suffer massively because of this.

If Tallis isn't part of the supposed shake-up, then he obviously has a 'set for life' arrangement with news/Fox

5th tackle comes up... "I think the Roosters are going to want points here, they're certainly a team that likes to play from in front"

finally dont have to listen him talk about himself or the 'red v is for me' tripe he rolls out every week, or his love for jamie soward even when they arent talking about the dragons.

good riddance. he will get more air time on cahnnel nine now id imagine, but i dont watch the footy show, so i dont care.

Yep. The red v is no longer on TV. This guy was a self promoting flipper. He played less games for the dragons then any other club he played for, including Waratahs, yet he is a converted Red V leader??? Surely it's only based on money. He would have to get paid, surely?

While sacking the likes of Sailor - with more expected to come - is designed to reinvigorate the network's coverage

Yup, Daley can go too - along with Greg Alexander and Warren Smith.

I know a lot don't like them but I hope they keep Belcher and his Sunday co-commentator.

I would have thought Geyer a perfect fit for the League Lounge... but they've canned that, so I don't know?

Thank god Sailor is out he's worse than those Faiders wankers.

MG means I won't be watching any show though. Shame because I liked Fox

Exactly what I was thinking. I liked MG on The Roast, but I do not think he would be good on a show like NRL on Fox.

Also, with Fox looking to recruit Johns, are they intending to introduce a show similar to the Matty Johns Show as a replacement of the League Lounge with MG joining him?

Well no need to watch the Roast anymore. The best bits last year were MG saying something stupid and Gus losing his marbles.
