According to the latest Rugby League Review, my favourite league mag, Fox Sports are going to show the NSW cup from May

Quite enjoyed the JBC coverage last year and the year before that so looking forward to watching this when they start it

Good work by Fox, i admit i dont have as much interest in it as the "Eels" dont play in it but still better to have as much rugby league as we can.

So is that crap about the highest club bidder gets the coverage actually true, or what ?? I mean you would get better odds at the casino on that gamble wouldn't ya. Spend 40, 000 for a gameday coverage, and still no sponsors jump on board. Dont like it if so.

Weren't Jim Beam Cup matches televised on Fox last year, IIRC (With David Tapp as main caller and Peter Mullholand as co-commenator)?

I think this has the potential to really show what quality players exist in the premier league competition to a wider audience. I have seen P/League games over the years that have shown far more quality football at times than "Many" of the NRL games I have seen.

There is a real fine line btw these comps , and I have watched many a player step up without problem into the NRL since year 2000. A very talented and entertaining competition of a very high standard. I think the NRL would be and are against, allowing this message out though. ;-)

I would even go as far to suggest that any NRL coach that neglects to watch such a show ( which will be apparently covering the figures etc ) of who is who in the 2nd highest quality of football available in the state of league's origin, NSW. Would be in error to miss such a show.

Such a show as such shall have the potential to probably help players at this level to obtain signings due to the coverage etc, and maybe even try harder to strive to appear admidst the quality players, that potentially can get a mention on such a show .

All good for the comp I reckon, all around.

Are you referring to the West's and Newcastle match last weekend. If So Im am sure either side could totally' own " cabramatta in a cricket score for example if they played a team the calibre of them though.

This is a comp that deserves some coverage. and it's about time if even a small amount.
