Foxsports promoting the GF better than 9

Foxsports are doing a better job of promoting the grand final REPLAy than channel 9 are doing of promoting the grand final live telecast.
just about every ad break on foxsports they have either a news update with something about it or they specialised ad focusing on the contest itself.
the ads that foxsports have put together for the grand final have been far better than the crap channel 9 have made for it. foxsports ads are foxusing on the emotion and power of the contest with their ads and have really done a great job whereas channel 9 trivialise it all by adding some shit about falcons. same bullshit they did for state of origin by using shrek 2 in their ads.
channel 9 need to pick up their act. i hope when the rights go up for sale again that channel 9 wont get them. we need a station to do their absolute best for rugby league like foxsports continues to do all year round.

The interesting thing is that Foxsports have the rights to all Grand Finals from '98 onwards and shows them all.

Channel 9 has the rights to all previous ARL and NSWRL grand finals from '97 back due to the sweetheart deal which caused the SL war.

...and yet shows none of these classic games.

Hopefully, when the PTV rights are renegotiated it will include the full back catalog of games.

yeah i remember that day. they showed heaps of old games. i remember the 97 GF, 98 preliminary final between parra and bulldogs and a couple of old origin games from the mid 90s plus heaps of other classics. one day i turned on the tele to discover the parra vs newton GF too.
i think someone is confused.

Thats right! F*ck the working man and all other working class scum who constitute a large sector of the rugby league audience! If they can't afford to pay for foxtel each month then they have no right to support rugby league! In fact we should have them all bundled away and sent to consentration camps in the dryest parts of our great land and forced to lug stones around for the rest of their misserable and pathetic lives!

"Welll DAAAAH" (Sorry Just had to do that... simpsons best show in the worlTo be honest Im very impressed with Fox's coverage of football this year. NRL scoreboard and NRL on Fox are two great shows, and when you had the two tight games on at the same time they got the main event channel. And a lot of advertising for the Grand Final.

Nine is very disappointing and beyond just plain annoyance anymore. They are a disease which should be removed unless if they decide to put their arses in gear. I wouldn't mind seeing channel seven have a go, because they dont have the F**king AFL to think about as well!
