Thanks for all that. But there was no need.
I said Molo would probably be stood down but NRL / club want more info to decide length etc (punishment) and cause he has plead he does not have a leg to stand on to avoid whatever punishment from the NRL comes his way.

No need is a good need!

Anyway which we start biting into this legal kebab, from a club perspective I’d still be inclined to set him aside from the group.

And I believe in cap and cash relief for clubs who take a strong stand against domestic violence. I think that’s a fair allocation from the nrls $50m profit. Even help sgi with a lend a player scheme from another club until the financial dust is settled. Not a swap but a borrow. Complex I know.

What charge do you lay?
At the time, people were told not to gather at people’s houses due to covid. Fines applied (if I’m not wrong). Whether you believe in covid or not, the club specifically told all players not to get together during the bye. They all disobeyed and chose to anyway. JDB, seeing as the club had stuck by him during his rape trial should have listened!

SO Molo's charge is 5 years and they may stand him down under a rule they bought in for cases that face a minimum 11 years sentence. Wow. That will do me. I said as a joke the NRL will find a new rule to apply to Saints.

Taylan May assaults a guy which we all saw and got a 2 week ban which he has not even had yet it is basically for whenever he feels like having it and Saints dude gets stand down. Different rules for different teams.

It does seem incongruous..point about May.

I can assure you, that little skanky little punk wouldn’t be playing under my watch.

I think those kids got a terrible upbringing.

And in the broad, certainly not Dragons or Tigers material. There are limits.

If proven true is it a good look for the game? And wasn't Francis on his last warning?

The offence is already proven to be true but what happened needs to be resolved.

There’s more focus, interest and addressing the issue from you SGI guys here on LU compared to the wall of silence from the club and NRL

I can’t see the reason for delay and uncertainty.

They said in the presser they would support Francis and his partner. You’d think they could have put her first in the press release, after all she’s the victim.

If nothing happens, it’s a very bad look. A lot of sponsors and fans will be miffed.

It took the panthers weeks to sack May, they were getting reamed for it everywhere and it just kept building. Sponsors where threatening to leave and there was blood in the board room.

I’m not sure Francis situation will attract the same passion, but the panel here is deeply unhappy.

You will have the usual media uproar to face.

Tallis is not a reputable commentator, a millionaire oaf up to mischief. When the big guys come after you to sell their papers etc or click bait, you’ll know about it.

They’l hang you out to dry and rub it in. Another sgi crisis, the old split-camp story. Hadley warming up already. Buckle up😞
