Jason Taylor??

Turned Parramatta's '06 season around.. then took South Sydney to the Semi-Finals in '07.

Our attack was disgraceful at times and as coach he needs to sort that out. Our defence went to 3rd best in the league though. Our saviour? I think he has done a great job but could not be called, and has not been called a Super Coach by anyone I know from the club. Has good form and a fair few more coaching runs on the board than Freddy at present. I do think JT wouldn't have done so well without us buying the cattle to win games, just like Freddy being given two Australian props for Xmas will help him considerably.

As I mentioned in the previous post- a coach is only as good as the star players he has.

Too many useless hack players in SOO these days, especially the blues.

These blokes are complete cats compared to those in the glory days of origin.

We need to allow a small quota of NZ players in to spice things up and refresh the series.

I think Freddy will do well (and I thought he was a great player when in form) but gee they over-rate their coaches quick smart.. Sticky was branded a Super Coach immediately and a few wins by Fittler and the fans think he the saviour.

You make me laugh

Maybe NSW selecting form players instead of reputations would spice it up.

No-one can tell me Mason, Anasta, Buderus or Hindmarsh had better form than Bird, Gallen, Farah and Creagh for any part of the season.

I'll welcome back O'Donnell and hope O'Meley isn't injured as we need both back there. Keeping Gallen and Bird is a must as well. If Anasta is given another chance it's rigged.

Everyone always forgets laffranchi. As far as im concerned he was the best secind rower last year. Looking at his stats it's pretty hard to aruge with that as well.

I dont see how Anthony Watmough got the second rower of the year when personally I think Laffranci, SBW and Ryan Hoffman were all better then him.

I dont see Laffranci making the Blues team until his sexual assult alegations are dropped.

Your quite right- there was one guy I couldn't remember.. it was Laffranchi.

A very aggressive change is required but don't hold your breath..

That's what we are all entitled to. :D

exactly...therefore I have the right to tell you that Anasta deserved his place in the side ahead of Bird at the time and I thought he did quite well.

I would really like to see Robbie Farrar get a start for the blues, I think he is the long term answer.

Answer to what? Unless hes gonna make a move to the halves, playing him at hooker will solve little for the Blues.

He was adequet, but adequet is not what you need at Origin level. Bird was a far more dynamic player in Origin 3 and provided the spark that Anasta lacked. He was picked on club form which is ok but Anasta has failed to perform in SOO and IMO has done his dash.

Rubbish, his creativity from dummy half will give the blues more optins than Danny B or any of the recent halves have supplied.

You have a right to voice your opinion not tell me anything.

If you think Anasta has performed anything above ordinary at SOO level in his many chances..

Anasta was alright in game 1 then broke his hand game 2.. you can't say he didn't at least deserve the spot.

I think he deserved his call up at the time, it wasn't really until origin 3 when Bird could of been considered ahead of him for that position or else there wasn't really any else you turn to and Anasta was at the time in rare club form.
