If they go after Joey, you might see the first League suicide bombers... in red&blue, running into Easts Leagues Club......

Joey leaving Newcastle for another NRL club would not go down too well up here...... and most Novocastrians know where he lives....

Wait for it!! Ther ewill be a heap of speculation about Lockyer Orford, Johns and every other high profile player in the game.

The truth is Webb and Le'Strange are going great sharing the hooking roll, and although Wing is the best Hooker in the world, he will move to 5/8 to partner Finch. I think Easts will use whats left over from Freddy's modest contract  , to top up the contracts of several players off contract.

Flannery will be lock...he's a great defender and not really a ball player.

i Agree this is what they Should do, But whether or not they do this is another thing.
Wing, Flannery, Bishop, Dorn, Crocker could all play the 5/8 Role without too much fuss.

Webb will be the Starting Hooker unless your silly enough to let him go.

There is no need to replace Fitler, there are ready made ones at the Club.

I agree, Flannery is a fantastic prospect, but in the back row, not as 5/8. So, I'd reckon melon's right  ( guess there're a fisrt time for everything though).

Finch is improving, but he's limited, and he's one of the most annoying little pricks in the comp - so if they can distch him for Orford, and ditch Rooster Cogburn, they'd be heading very quickly in the right direction. (I'd also like to see John Cartwright as head coach, Ricky's too angry!)

I hope they dont buy Priddo off us! We need to re-sign him and the Roosters already have enough players that are stars.

Mr Stuart said that Brett Finch is coming along nicely and will take over the position of main playmaker for his side.
As for Craig Wing being the best hooker in the game- no chance.
Danny Buderus easily.

And...... Your point being. We have developed him into one of the most potent and damaging attacking weapons in the game. And he is actually a Canterbury Junior.

You quickly forget.....................

Question on that - how is Willie Bishop going at Easts?

I saw him at the Sevens - again he looked a brilliant broken field runner.

Interested to hear how he's going.

He was actually carving them up in the first few rounds and there were quite a few calls for him to be included in first grade on The Wall :). But to be honest i havent heard a peep since then about Willie (Our moderator gives a weekly review on the lower grade games, and i dont think Willie has been mentioned since the first few rounds). So basically that leads me to assume he's actually injured id say :(.
