Dumas/ Cronulla
Pelo/ Cronulla
Elima/ Wakefield
Fakir/ UTC
Greseque/ Pia
Hermet/ Villeneuve
Abasse/ St.Gaudens
Gay/ Toulouse
Casty/ Lezignan
Banquet/ Carcassonne

Do you think Dumas and Pelo have been picked to help save on airfares?

Have they adopted England's one player per club policy?

Looks like a decent squad anyway.

Hope it isn't cost cutting.

Not a bad squad. They're my dark horse for the International Trophy.

i think they may have picked these players to perhaps entice them to play for the test team in the future ???????????

They have already played for france, maybe it Dumas and Pelo are players that could sign for UTC in Super League

dimitri is right. It could be an enticement to play for France. Or it could be cost cutting.

Technically, they haven't played for France. To my knowledge their only match was for French Selection vs Kangaroos. The team was not the official France team. The understrengthed Chanticleers were busy at the Med Cup.

yes jeffles is right

they played only for a french selection not the test team

if these guys turn into great first graders and they end up playing for the chanticeleers it would be a big boost for FRL

They both played for the French Test team against the New Zealand Maori prior to both the Med Cup and the Kangaroo Tour.

Whilst they can play for Australia if both are good enough, I think the FFRXIII is going to play it smart and keep picking them in the hope they realise, well at least with France we are guarenteed a game, with the Kangaroos well we could be another Villasanti.

I don't know if he's that good. A few of the posters on totalrl.com have described him as looking slow and clumsy. But they did say he still had an air class about him.

I have seen him play, I beleive he is a very good player.....how he can be slow and clumsy but have an air of class about him doesnt really fit!

What players appear, and what they are, can be two totally different things.

Banquet, you can look at him sometimes on the football field and think that he is slow, and question his skill level, yet every time you see him, he makes all those tackles and sets up plays, and makes the breaks.

He is a good player, but I can see how people can comment he looks a bit slow or clumsy.
